As a result of growing health-related concerns, it is with regret but also the best interest of our community in mind that the WIT PGH Launch Party must be postponed to a later date. While WIT PGH’s larger and long term efforts for underrepresented groups across Pittsburgh and champion tech equity will not be curbed, we are sensitive to the situation and understand the need to prioritize health and safety at this time. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank everyone who was planning to attend and purchased a pre-sale ticket. While we hope some will consider these purchases a donation to our cause (and to help offset the burden of our sunk costs related to this event) we’re of course sensitive to everyone’s respective financial situations. As a result please contact email@example.com to request a refund. Requested refunds for all pre-sale tickets purchased will be honored and processed within 5-7 business days.
We again regret the unfortunate circumstances of the situation but reiterate this cancellation will only be a speedbump on the long winding road to improved tech equity in Pittsburgh. With that, we will reschedule and hope to see everyone & celebrate at that time. Please be sure to sign up for our newsletter on our website to be alerted for revised plans to celebrate the launch of WIT PGH and other announcements in the future.

Making sure everyone has a seat at the table when it comes to developing the tech that disproportionately regulates our every day lives can’t be solved with mimosas and mixers. Although that sounds super fun and refreshing, WIT PGH aims for unprecedented change in PIttsburgh’s tech scene via equity and advocacy by creating events, resources, and workshops focused on digital literacy and autonomy. Come out and support the WIT PGH fundraiser and celebrate the launch of the nonprofit with hors de’vours, karaoke, raffle, a live coding performance and an algorave to end the night!
830pm-10pm: VIP networking, hors de’vours, karaoke, team and mission introduction, raffle
